Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This was a fun first birthday cake to put together! Who doesn't love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Jason is an adorable 1-year old, and I've done cakes for his older siblings in the past. Always have to top the last one though!

Everything you see is made of sugar, including the cheese and pepperoni!

I was super excited to have free reign with these! I used Biscoff cookies (crushed!!) for the "sand", and all the little pieces were gum paste. So adorable!!

Design inspirations

I found all these fun pieces at Ross a couple weeks ago. I think they could make some very interesting centerpieces for a rustic or mountain wedding. (okay, I don't "think", in reality I know they would!!)
