Christmas Cookies
Whew! This week I had an order for 800 sugar cookies, wrapped in individual bags! We can do this for your holiday event too!

Rustic Cakes
A couple of "rustic" cakes for this week.
One is a Kahlua Raspberry Chocolate cake, for a couple's 1st anniversary. This is something we do, instead of you saving that top tier in a freezer for a year (ick!), we offer a complimentary cake for your first anniversary! This is valid on any wedding cake over $150, and requires pickup.
The other is a Lemon cake. Lemon Chiffon cake, with a lemon curd fillings, and lemon buttercream. It smells amazing. This is for a friend of mine.
Happy Thanksgiving! I have several events that I still need to share, meanwhile checkout our Facebook page, Adair Weddings for the most up to date information!

Backyard Wedding
Happy Fall! We have been taking some time off, but last weekend got back in the swing of things!
A simple backyard wedding, the bride had a vision, and we just executed it. Although, I admit, the ribbon arbor was our idea!

Tombstone
I was asked to do a fun little cake for my husband's boss' 30th anniversary with their company.
Now, I had a fantastic idea to put on it. Bob likes to say "it's good to be the king!", so my idea had been to put this on it:

"The King"
30 years of tyranny. (then cross out tyranny and put service underneath)
But alas, another idea was approved first. I still had to share, as I do like both ideas!

Sigafoos Wedding!
Wow, yesterday was amazing, intense, and downright crazy! Big Bear had a total freak rain storm, which meant we were scrambling the entire afternoon. Talk about being on point! My crew was stellar, and we rolled with it.
Were there unhappy guests? Yes. Was it something my crew had control over? No. It was God and his weather 100%!!
In the end, everything tuned out lovely, Holly and Grant are married, and the cake & cookie bar was a major success! And the details Holly's parents pulled off, simply amazing. I've posted some of my pictures, but if you Instagram, I recommend searching hash tag #sigafooswedding for many more. (which brides, how awesome is it that you can make your own hashtag and have your guests post their photos??)
We did all the flowers, decor, cake, cookie bar (complete with perfect Macarons!), and ran the event. Te brides mother made the centerpieces, her father all the benches, the arbor, and the incredible stumps! (and e even made a custom one for the cake!!) Also we orchestrated the moving of the reception from outside to the front patio when it started raining!
If you want to have a mountain wedding, contact me! The brides parents own the house and the lot up there, and it's all prepared for a intimate ceremony/reception for 100 guests or less. It's stunning!!
