Christmas Eve!!

All those gorgeous flowers I made yesterday? They went on this stunning anniversary cake that went out today!!

A friend of mine was married 10 years ago, they eloped, but never had the cake. Fast forward, today, his lovely wife gets her wedding cake! I was so thrilled to help put this in motion, it makes me realize what I do is so much more than baking a cake. It's making memories, creating special surprises, putting smiles on faces.

It's been 24 days of blogging, baking, and celebrating Christmas with my husband, children, and so many wonderful family members. Completing that special cake early this morning, what a wonderful feeling!

So, Happy Christmases Eve to you and yours. I'm excited to see what 2012 has in store for Adair Weddings! Already have some exciting projects on the books!!!

I caved and bought the pre-made sets, but kids, well, they had a blast!

Yes, we do ship!! USPS priority mail, with ice packs, and a personal touch depending on the time of year! I only ship Monday or Tuesday, depending on the destination.

Surprise Cake!

Friend of my mother, her husband is working overseas. He contacted me last week to make a surprise cake for his wife's birthday!

So I went all out! Crazy topsy turvy, bright colors, edible jewelry, and love notes that her husband emailed me and I wrote out on pieces of Gumpaste.

Enjoy! This one was a blast! My first topsy turvy, and it was wild!!
